House Republican Leader Larry Cafero testified recently on a bill that proposes closing Riverview Hospital in Middletown, where the per-patient cost is a lot more than per-patient costs at private sector institutions that offer the same care. Check out Cafero’s testimony here:
OUR TOWN HALL MEETING
More than 300 Republicans from throughout Connecticut came together recently at Central Connecticut State University to talk about our party and the future of our state. House Republican leader Larry Cafero and Senate Republican Leader John McKinney led the discussion, which gave folks an opportunity to share their thoughts about what worked—and what didn’t—during the last election cycle. Cafero and McKinney talked about voter registration and voter turnout, election results and common sense principles their caucuses used successfully.
